THE PONDS – FAMILY FUN, FIREWORKS AND NEW HOMES

On Sunday 27 July, the North-West’s newest suburb – The Ponds will be officially launched with a family fun day, fireworks show and the opening of the new builder display village featuring 15 quality homes.

All of the action will happen on the corner of Riverbank Drive and The Ponds Boulevard between 2.30pm – 5.30pm. The fireworks display, Bob the Builder show, jazz band - Blue Train, stalls, face painting, reptile farm, fire engine, dodgem cars, jumping castle, free sausage sizzle and ice-cream and junior rides will all be there to provide a fun afternoon for the family.

“The Ponds is fast becoming a thriving neighbourhood that captures a strong community spirit. Families, young couples and retirees are embracing the water and woodland environment and open spaces within the 80 hectare nature corridor,” said Tony Pizzolato, Australand’s General Manager for Residential.

To help celebrate the launch a new land release of lots ranging in size from 450m2 – 649m2 will also be available. Prices start from $260,000.

“The land is well priced and large frontages, some up to 20 metres wide, are offered for wider homes and street appeal. They are also minutes away from recreational facilities, Stanhope Shopping Village, Busways buses links and the Sunnyholt Road exit off the M7,” Tony Pizzolato added.

“Another key feature of The Ponds is that there are no community levies, unlike other land developments in the North West.”

The new builder display village will include six of Australia’s leading home builders. Wisdom Homes, Allcastle Homes, Eden Brae Homes, AVJennings, Jandson Homes and Casaview Homes will showcase various single and double storey modern architecturally designed housing types in the new builder display village.

The first 12 residents recently moved into The Ponds, which is a growing 390 hectare master-planned community located beside Kellyville Ridge. It is a ten year project and when complete will comprise over 3000 homes.

The Ponds is a partnership between Landcom and Australand, offering a unique water and woodland environment surrounded by an extensive nature corridor. Childcare facilities, water bodies, cycle paths, walking tracks, sports facilities and a retail precinct will feature in the new community. Children’s playgrounds and The John Palmer Primary School recently opened in The Ponds.
