New members to the Board of Directors
Landcom welcomes the NSW Government's appointments of three new directors to the Board of Landcom, strengthening its response to the housing crisis to unlock more diverse and sustainable homes.
The appointments increase the Board’s representation to seven, bringing deep expertise across real estate, sustainability and law to deliver on the NSW Government's priorities.
Siobhan Toohill has over 20 years’ experience leading sustainability in ASX50 companies, including as Australia’s first Chief Sustainability Officer in listed financial services with Westpac.
Her work spans climate action, net zero transition, natural capital, human rights, and social impact. With a background in architecture and urban design, and as a Deputy Chair of the Green Building Council of Australia, she helped pioneer green-rated, energy-efficient and community-responsive developments.
Kieran Pryke brings more than 30 years’ experience in finance across the real estate industry, including in investment management, construction and development, both in executive and non-executive roles.
Kieran has held senior finance roles within the Lendlease Group and was Chief Financial Officer of The GPT Group and Australand Property Group, both ASX listed real estate businesses.
Ilona Millar has worked over 25 years on environment and climate law and finance, including the development of law and policy and its implementation by both governments and the private sector.
Currently a partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s Banking + Projects group, Ilona specialises in Climate Change and Sustainability, is currently serving on the board of the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator and is a former Commissioner of the NSW Independent Planning Commission.
Siobhan, Kieran and Ilona's appointments commenced in April 2025 for a three-year period. Landcom welcomes the three new Directors.
John Barbeler's term as Non-executive Director has concluded, following seven years of service to the Landcom Board.
During this time, John has provided leadership on the acquisition of strategic sites at Glenfield and North Wilton, and oversight of Landcom’s financial reporting and risk management frameworks.
Landcom thanks John for his valuable contribution and wishes him well in his next endeavour.
Kieran will Chair the Audit & Risk Management Committee following the conclusion of John's appointment.
